As part of the set up, there are several useful plugins that will be installed and activated in your blog. One of them is ‘All in One SEO Pack’ plugin which is all that’s needed for the blog’s SEO.
Homepage
The META title, description and keywords for the homepage of the blog can be set by visiting the plugins settings page.

Posts and Pages
For individual Pages and posts, the plugin inserts fields to enter META title, description and keywords when you are creating/editing the post/Page.
The Title field can be left blank as the post/Page title will be automatically set as META title. If you do want to override that and enter your own META title, that can be done so by filling the Title field.
Conclusion: A WordPress blog is search engine friendly out of the box unlike a static HTML site. With All in One SEO Pack, it’s very simple to set META info for homepage and the content (posts/Pages) of the blog.
