These are some of my recommendations for services useful for Internet Marketing and running an online business in general. I personally use all these below and vouch for them to be of top quality in delivering what they promise.

Domain Name Registration: The recommended place to buy domain names is NameCheap. The domain registration process here is straight forward. GoDaddy usually is cheaper by a couple of dollars than NameCheap but you will be presented with lots of up-sell offers during registration which can get annoying. If you are going to register the domain(s) at GoDaddy, use the coupon code Emo3 to bring down the cost to $7.49 for a top level domain name like a .com, .net.

Hosting: DO NOT get hosting from GoDaddy. HostGator is an excellent hosting company that I strongly recommend. If you are just starting out, go for ‘Baby’ plan. I personally use this plan and paid $228.96 for 3 yrs. i.e., $6.36/month. Use SPRING coupon code for getting 20% off.

Autoresponder: Building a list that you can market is to vital in Internet Marketing. Aweber is the #1 hosted autoresponder service. After signing up, make sure to watch the videos on how to do common tasks like: Creating a list, setting up email confirmation text, welcome message, creating the form etc..

WordPress theme for creating sales pages: FlexSqueeze is the easiest way to set up your sales pages. Even though this is a WordPress theme, the sales pages it generates are devoid of all the regular blog distractions. And because FlexSqueeze is based on WordPress, it’s very easy to make changes and add a conventional blog if needed. The theme comes with a rich set of options to change the header image, change the colors, tweak backgrounds etc.

Crowd Mountain – Complete training program for building and getting traffic to your websites: In Crowd Mountain membership site, Michelle MacPhearson shares via systematic video lessons all the steps one has to take to research a profitable niche, pick the right keywords, build a site, populate it with content, doing SEO and making sales.
